Theresa was in her forties and had just gone through a divorce about two years earlier. In working through her divorce other issues started to surface. At first this seemed natural enough. But then she began to remember experiences in her childhood that were extremely painful. One day she showed her parish priest some pictures and writing she had done. He told her the pictures depicted abuse - a particularly evil kind of abuse.We talked about her reasons for wanting an appointment with me. We talked about her childhood and the things going on in her childhood and the things going on with her sessions with her counselor and her parish priest. She shared with me she had "her children", her multiples with her and they needed help. Her children were different personalities. Theresa suffered from MPD, which is not uncommon for victims of satanic ritual abuse. I asked her about her "children'. She described ten different persons that talked within her.I was determined to do all that I could to help Theresa be healed of the horrors she experienced as a vulnerable little girl.-- Fr.
