This dictionary is very practical and useful, especially for modern journalistic writing. Given the great profusion of sub-dialects in Kurdish, even within the Kurmanci dialect itself, there will be words that the user will be unable to find in this dictionary, but despite these limitations, created more by the situation of the Kurdish language itself than due to any shortcomings on the part of the compiler, this will likely be the preferred Kurdish dictionary for most English-speaking students of Kurdish.
It is more practical than Michael Chyet's massive dictionary, especially for everyday use, and much superior to the tiny and almost useless dictionary of Amindarov or the one by Celebi and Sipka, which appears to have been copied largely from Rizgar, but with the unfortunate addition of a great many errors.
