臺大版"殷海光全集"蒐羅殷海光先生所有中英文著作, 文章, 譯作, 書序, 隨筆, 書信, 是殷先生所撰文字最完整的紀錄. 殷海光畢生筆耕不輟, 或以筆言志, 或藉紙抒懷, 他的眾多文字遺產, 既是自身思想言行的展現, 也是後人理解探討他的生命思想的最主要依據. 正因為殷海光先生的撰述繁多, 清查檢索, 好似永無止境的學術工程. 機緣巧合, 編者從各種管道陸續發現殷海光的著述, 尚未匯編, 故特編印"殷海光全集.補遺", 以彌補前此的闕失, 履踐讓臺大版"殷海光全集"總匯殷海光之一切著述的期望. 我們更誠懇希望, 學界方家繼續提供助力, 讓臺大版"殷海光全集"愈趨理想之境
