张晓东,高级工艺美术师,江西波阳人,1960年出生于景德镇陶瓷世家,从小受其父张松茂先生(中国工艺美术大师)的影响,热衷于陶瓷美术。1981年进入轻工部陶研所从事美术设计工作,1984年考入景德镇陶瓷职工大学,1987年回原单位致力于陶瓷美术设计创作,共作品多次获奖。1991年应邀去日本“SOGO”百货店作陶瓷现场绘画表演。之后留学于日本。多次率团去日本举办陶瓷艺术作品展览,并与日木陶艺家进行艺术交流。大力弘扬了我国的陶瓷文化,成为省内知名的企业家。张晓东潜心经商办企业,但仍坚持陶瓷艺术创作。他擅长粉彩山水、花鸟画。他的作品粉彩《牡丹瓷盘》(获百花奖二等奖)等,在多次作品评比中获奖并得到广泛好评。他还参与了97年江西省政府赠香港特别行政区的礼品一大型瓷板画《紫归牡怀图》的绘制,受到省政府的嘉奖,他的事迹已载入大型辞书《中华英才大典》、《世界优秀专家人才名典》。
