This volume is a compilation of the poetry of Australian Henry Lawson (1867-1922). Lawson is among the best-known Australian poets and fiction writers of the colonial period, and is often called Australia's "greatest writer". Like the majority of Australians, Lawson lived in a city, but had plenty of experience in outback life and many of his themes reflected his experiences in the Australian outback.
